Fran
Owner and instructor, her love for Pilates is what made Coreworks possible. Fran is a STOTT trained mat and reformer instructor. She teaches all levels of Pilates Mat, Reformer and Tower. Fran has also been trained in Mat, Reformer, Tower, and Integrated fthrough PHI Pilates and Mat from the Pilates Coach. Fran has been practicing and studying Pilates since 2000.
Sara
Sara manages both the Columbia and Maple Lawn locations. She holds an ACE personal training certification. Sara teaches classes in all levels of Pilates Mat, Tower, and Reformer. Sara is a STOTT trained Mat and Reformer instructor. She is also trained in Mat, Reformer, Tower, and Integrated through PHI Pilates and Mat through the Pilates Coach. Sara is also trained in pre/post natal Pilates mat and apparatus. She has been practicing and studying Pilates since 2000. Sara is currently working towards her 200hr Registered Yoga Teacher with YogaFit.
Michele
Michele is the Fitness Director as well as an instructor and Master Personal Trainer. Michele teaches classes in all levels of Pilates mat, reformer, and tower. She has been certified as a personal trainer since 1993 through AFAA, and ACE, as well as Resistance Training Certification from AFAA. In addition, she has completed pilates mat training from physicalmind institute and PHI pilates, pilates reformer training from the pilates coach, and integrated training from PHI pilates. She is also a faculty member at Balanced Body University and teaches their teacher training program. Michele is PMA certified.
Les
Les believes when you work on mobility, stability, and stregnth, all your other fitness goals will fall into place. Les has great success helping clients achieve their weight loss and performance goals. He is also passionate about bringing the body into muscular balance to address postural needs. Les uses his Kettlebell and ACE certifications to deliver a balanced routine for all levels. He is a manager and trainer at the Maple Lawn location.
Christine
Chris became a certified Weight Trainer through IWA in 2004. She is trained in Pilates Mat and Tower through PHI Pilates and completed her Yoga Teacher Training program in 2007. Teaching since 2005, Chris teaches all levels of Mat, Tower, and Yoga. Chris is also a certified Massage Therapist and practices Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial, and Heated Stone massage.
Susan
Susan is trained in Pilates Mat, Reformer, and Tower certifications through PHI Pilates and Mat through the Pilates Coach. In addition, she is finishing her Mat Level 2 training with Balanced Body University. Susan has been practicing and studying Pilates since 1999. She began teaching in 2004 and currently teaches all levels of Mat.
Melanie
Melanie is an ISSA certified personal trainer since 2004. In addition, Melanie holds a Cloud 9 metabolism and nutrition certification. Melanie is a results driven trainer who enjoys helping people improve overall health, increase energy, and gain strength and balance.
Zlaya
Zlaya's fitness programs are tailored to individual clients as well as small groups, incorporating knowledge of kinesiology and proven old world fitness methods including bodyweight exercises, kettlebells, ropes etc. His goal is to promote health, confidence and mental wellbeing.
Laura
Laura Cannon has been studying and practicing yoga and meditation since 2003. She believes that deep healing is possible when we nourish our body, mind, and spirit through the practice of yoga. While she has studied in several styles of yoga, her classes are based in a strong Iyengar foundation and include an emphasis on flowing movement (vinyasa). Laura is currently completing her 200hr RYT through YogaFit. She is also an energy healer and meditation instructor in Ellicott City, MD.
Sue R
Sue is an NSPA Certified Personal Trainer and a certified kettlebell instructor as well as a Muay Thai martial arts instructor. Sue prides herself on tailoring her training to the individual needs and goals of her clients with a focus on functional strength and movement-- she enjoys seeing her clients realize their potential
