Part mind-body, part cardio, part strength and totally unique! This new apparatus improves posture, balance and functional movement. Many standing movements will enhance core stability for any fitness endeavor, and make everyday movement more efficient. Flexible soled shoes recommended. Pilates 1:
Recommended for those with little or no previous experience. Learn or review the basics of Pilates alignment, breath, and control. Begin to understand how to control your body in the proper way.
Pilates 2:
For those with a comfortable understanding of the basics of Pilates. Learn more challenging moves, and begin to incorporate small props. Continue practicing body control.
Reformer 1:
Total body workout with a focus on correct body alignment and abdominal control. Learn Reformer basics. It is a good idea to have an idea of the Pilates principles before going into this class. reformer 2:
For those with a comfortable understanding of the basics. Learn more challenging exercises including some standing and kneeling exercises. Begin to use the integrated system to add challenge.
tower:
Heighten your Coreworks adventure. Apparatus springs will assist or challenge your workout. Total body resistance workout using Pilates principles. Focus on control of movement. Suitable for all levels with previous Pilates experience.
Flow Yoga:
Connect your movement with your breath and flow between poses with grace. In this class practice flowing sequences and sun salutations that balance energy and reduce physical and mental stress. Build strength and endurance, increase balance and flexibility. Pilates Mechanics Workshop:
This workshop will return in January of 2012. Every second Wednesday from 7:00-8:30 pm join Michele for only $30. Learn detailed control components and science of the method. Strongly recommended for those with less than 6 months experience but great for all levels. The beginner or the novice can refine their skills and benefit from this workshop. Register here. Full Studio 1: Combine workouts from Mat, Reformer, & Tower in this well rounded workout. Previous experience recommended. Full Studio 2: Include work on the Pilates Chair and ladder barrel in a circuit style format. Small equipment might also be included. Previous experience recommended.

Clients benefit from regular pilates mat, reformer, and tower classes with a few modifications due to their changing bodies. Special equipment is provided and a focus is placed on preventing pregnancy postural changes and related soreness. Contact us for more information
